What data we collect and why
When you book a holiday or event
To process your booking and look after you on your trip, we collect your name, email address, phone number, postal address, date of birth, dietary requirements, swimming ability, and any relevant medical information. We may also ask about pre-existing medical conditions that could affect your experience.
Our legal basis for processing this data is the performance of a contract with you.
When you visit our website
When you browse swimquest.uk.com, your browser automatically sends us certain technical information – including your IP address, the pages you visit, the time of your visit, and your browser type. We use this data to keep the website running properly. Our legal basis is legitimate interest.
When you sign up to our newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will send you information about new trips, special offers and late availability. Our legal basis is your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of any email.
When you follow us on social media

How long we keep your data
We keep your personal data for as long as you remain a subscriber to our mailing list, or for five years from your last purchase with us, whichever is longer. After this period, your data is securely deleted unless we are legally required to retain it.

We do not sell your data. We will not share it with third parties except where necessary to deliver our services or as required by law.
